At AQLITY, our commitment to accountability is at the core of our operations. We recognize the significance of fostering transparency and accountability in the humanitarian sector. Therefore, we prioritised establishing governance structures that adhere to the highest standards. Through competent bodies overseeing the organisation, we strive to ensure that every aspect of our work aligns with our mission to bring positive change to those who need it the most.

OUR CONSTITUTION.(as of 2023.November)

AQLITY's constitution serves as the foundational document that guides and governs every facet of our work. This living document is not static; instead, we recognize the importance of adaptability and periodic review to ensure it remains relevant and effective. Our constitution reflects our core values, mission, and commitment to the highest standards of integrity. By routinely revisiting and refining this document, we reaffirm our dedication to transparency, accountability, and the continual pursuit of excellence in our humanitarian initiatives.

Our codes and policies shape our organisation as a whole and ensure that we are always staying true to our values. They make up who we are and ultimately make sure that we are being the best that we can be.

All of the work that we carry out is guided by a series of codes and policies which are strictly adhered to at all times.

The following documents refer to staff and fundraising procedures. They enable us to carry out the life-saving work that we do in a fair, honest and respectful manner. These guiding documents are vital in helping us to achieve our mission of combating extreme poverty

As an organisation reliant on public donations, AQLITY is committed to upholding the Charities Regulator’s Guidelines for Charitable Organizations on Fundraising from the Public.

AQLITY formally discusses and adopts these guidelines at meetings of its governing body, ensuring adherence to the principles outlined in its annual report and Donor Charter. Regular compliance monitoring and careful consideration of the guidelines in all fundraising activities underscore AQLITY’s commitment to transparent and accountable fundraising practices.

A designated governing body or senior staff member oversees compliance, while a feedback and complaints procedure, aligned with the guidelines, facilitates prompt and appropriate responses to public feedback.

Financial reports prepared by AQLITY adhere to the requirements of the Charities Act 2009 and the Charities Regulator, including statements regarding organisational independence from funding sources.

Additionally, AQLITY diligently tracks and records all donations in compliance with data protection regulations, ensuring transparency and accountability to the public. With multiple accessible contact options, AQLITY remains readily available to engage with the public.
